Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have minimum 1 year of of direct experience of monitoring and evaluation and demonstrated ability and understanding to design, commission, and manage assessment methodologies and techniques such as focus group discussions, key informant interviews, observations to name a few.
Moreover, we also expect the following:
- Relevant diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
- Training in quantitative methodologies, including database management.
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of a range of methods for monitoring, evaluation and assessment to promote evidence-based learning.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and summarize it for a range of different audiences.
- Ability to build support from staff across teams and across members, and to build the capacity of others.
- Experience of qualitative research techniques.
- Understanding of working for non-governmental organization.
- English proficiency.
- Fluency in Ukrainian.
- Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Contract length: 6 months fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and available funding.
